My Cup of Tea

Hello all! Welcome to the blog portion of my site. This is where we can get into the nitty gritty of the computer science world. First, the pleasantries. My name is Leah, I am a current Sophomore at DeVry University. I am studying for my Bachelor's in Computer Information Systems, with a specialization in Web Development & Administration.

Current Enrollments

Currently I am enrolled in a few classes, one being Web Interface Design. This class is currently why I am setting up this blog. In this course we are using a platform of our choosing to begin building our professional development blog. As I already had multiple past projects on this site, I decided to add to it rather than to start with a new platform.

Work in progress

As we just had Christmas break and I am starting a new semester, I will be working on school projects for the next 8 weeks! But, just as an update, over the break, I did help build my first server. I had just finished Networking 200 and we had an old shell of a computer laying around. Then one thing lead to another, and by New Years Day I had also built my husband a brand new gaming desktop.

Plans

Presently my plans for this blog include weekly discussions detailing

• The progress of my school projects

• Hiccups / Solutions along the way

• Occasionally a breakdown of some other lessons I've come across while in school

Conclusion

To wrap this up, hope you all find something useful or helpful along the way.
